Introduced in 1970 as the Racetiger, no other Volkl ski stands for high performance and success like the Racetiger. For friends of super fast, long turns with full pressure on the edge, there is really hardly any alternative.

In the coming season, Tailored Carbon Tips are installed in the Racetiger GS for the first time. The tailor-made carbon fibers allow the ski to be optimally adapted to its area of use. The thickness and alignment of the fibers define the necessary power input and energy build-up in exactly the right places. They thus enable agile shovel retraction with precise response directly at turn initiation. The new GS can be controlled ultra precisely and in a controlled manner with reduced power input.

The subtly shortened and flattened tip rocker and, above all, the modified geometry with a radius shortened by 2 m play a special role in the new handling characteristics. The narrower center width enables a more dynamic skiing style with faster edge changes and, for the first time, the Racetiger GS is also available in a length of less than 170 cm at 168 cm.

The package is perfectly complemented by the new R-Motion 3 GW binding in addition to 3D Glass, two layers of full Titanal and the proven Multilayer Woodcore. The shortened plate in combination with the wider hole pattern delivers a more direct, pressure-filled power transmission and allows faster edge changes. The highlight, however, are the two rear screws, which are no longer fixed, allowing the binding to slide freely and the ski moves harmoniously through the entire bending line with increased edge grip without being blocked.
